As Co-Head of Technology, he shares responsibility for the strategy and oversight of Bridgewater’s Technology group, including technology products across the company that power both the productivity of our workforce and the systemized investment platforms at the heart of Bridgewater’s business.     Kerry joined Bridgewater in 2003 and is Head of Equities Research and a Partner at the firm. As Head of Equities Research, he is responsible for overseeing all of Bridgewater’s equity strategies. Kerry was previously Director of Investment Systems, responsible for broad oversight of systems and investment decisions, evolving our systemization technology, and overseeing the training and standards by which we systemize our understanding of the timeless and universal drivers of financial markets. He also spent several years in the Client Service department, where he led a team of analysts, and in the Trading group, where he focused on improving our trade execution strategies. Prior to joining Bridgewater, Kerry received his AB from Princeton University in Economics with a Certificate in Finance.

    Sean Macrae joined Bridgewater in 2008 and is co-Head of the Investment Engine and a Partner at the firm. He shares responsibility for the strategy and oversight of our Investment Engine and partners with the CIOs and Investment Committee to set and drive the firm’s key investment strategies and priorities in the Research department.

    Alex joined Bridgewater in 2009 and is Co-Head of Fixed Income Research. He is a Partner of the firm and serves as a member of the Investment Committee, which is responsible for making Bridgewater’s most significant investment decisions. Alex builds and oversees key portions of the firm’s investment systems, with a focus on the understanding and prediction of money flows and their impact on markets. His work has included the ripple effects of quantitative easing on global markets, systematic projections of credit supply and demand, the impact of coordinated monetary and fiscal policies, and the supply/demand dynamics of the gold market. He also plays a significant leadership role in the development of cutting-edge technologies for Bridgewater’s investment process.

    Katie joined Bridgewater in 2007 and is currently Deputy Head of Client Service and a Partner of the firm. In this role, she drives the strategic and commercial goals of the department and oversees our global institutional advisory business, ensuring Bridgewater is providing thought partnership to help our clients meet their objectives. She is also a leader in the firm’s Women’s Influence Network, where she coaches and mentors young professionals. Katie previously was the Head of Americas, and she began as an Investment Associate in the Trading group, where she focused on foreign currency trading strategies.

    Seth joined Bridgewater Associates in 2002 and is a senior member of the investment team as well as a Partner at the firm. He is currently responsible for Bridgewater’s fixed income and insurance investment strategies — developing tailored strategies and insights for fixed income investors and insurers globally. Seth has expertise in macroeconomics, portfolio engineering, and markets spanning foreign exchange, interest rates, commodities, and equities. For many years, Seth has partnered with sovereign wealth funds, central banks, pensions, endowments and foundations, insurers, and other financial institutions across the globe to develop tailored investment strategies and portfolio solutions. He was also responsible for Bridgewater’s client research and led the development of Bridgewater’s proprietary Risk Budget Tool. Seth graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College with a BA in Economics, a BA in Philosophy, and a BA in Political Science, with honors. He is a CFA charterholder.
