    Devon Long joined Bridgewater in 2012 and is the Deputy Head of Total Portfolio Strategies and a Partner. He is focused on delivering innovative investment strategies that address our clients’ biggest challenges, including overseeing our portfolios, leading research, and building investment systems. Prior to his current role Devon served as the Co-Head of Investment Implementation, overseeing the firm’s trade execution, portfolio management, data, and investment operations. He is also a lead investor partnering with our technology and engineering functions to design Bridgewater’s investing platforms to systematically manage money at scale. Devon has co-authored multiple research articles alongside Chief Investment Officers Karen Karniol-Tambour and Greg Jensen in the firm’s signature daily research publication, Bridgewater Daily Observations. Devon is an Atlantic Council Millenium Fellow and was named to Institutional Investor's "Hedge Fund Rising Stars" in 2024. He is a graduate of Harvard University where he studied computer science.

    Derrick joined Bridgewater in 2006 and is the Technology Chief Operating Officer and the Head of our Corporate Technology division. He is also a Partner at the firm. As Technology Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for implementing business strategies and optimizing Technology’s operational capabilities. As Head of Corporate Technology, Derrick shares responsibility for the strategy, delivery, and oversight of Bridgewater’s corporate and back-office technology. He was previously Head of Investment Engineering and Investment Operations in Research at Bridgewater.

    Atul joined Bridgewater in 2011 and currently serves as Head of Macro Equities. He is a member of Bridgewater’s Investment Committee, responsible for undertaking the firm’s most significant investment decisions, and is a Partner at the firm. Atul’s focus is overseeing Bridgewater’s key country level outright and diff equity trading systems as well as exploring new areas of diversifying alpha, such as the development of new “bottom-to-top” equity strategies. Before his work in equities, Atul spent several years leading Bridgewater’s commodity team with a special focus on oil. His views on markets and the economy frequently feature in the firm’s daily research pieces, Bridgewater Daily Observations.

    Chip Packard joined Bridgewater in 2016 and serves as Global Head of Strategic Partnerships for Bridgewater’s Client Service department. In his role, he is responsible for developing and managing the client and commercial strategy across Asia Pacific and the Middle East, as well as building the strategic advisory relationships and delivering tailored portfolio strategies to clients across those regions. Chip is also a Partner of the firm.

    Larry serves as Co-Head of Fixed Income Research and is a Partner of the firm. He is a regular author of Bridgewater’s Daily Observations, and served as the Daily Observations editor for several years prior. Before joining Bridgewater in 2009, Larry spent most of his career at UBS in various trading and management roles, which included Managing Director of the UBS Distressed Asset Workout Group and Head of Sales and Trading for fixed income financing. He represented UBS at the New York Federal Reserve’s primary dealer finance meetings as well as at SIFMA and the European Repo council. He was also a board member of UBS LLC. Larry received his BS in Finance and BA in International Relations from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

    Andrew joined Bridgewater in 2004 and serves as Head of Americas for our Client Service department, advising Bridgewater’s largest strategic relationships across North America. He is responsible for developing and managing our client and commercial strategy along with building tailored strategic advisory relationships and portfolio strategies to clients in the region. During his twenty years at Bridgewater, he has partnered directly with a range of the firm’s largest and most sophisticated global investors as well as being responsible for developing and advising Bridgewater’s relationships with key investment consulting firms, both domestically and internationally. Andrew is also a Partner at the firm. He received his B.A. from Bucknell University, graduating summa cum laude.

Joanna is also responsible for overseeing and commercializing our Asia Investment Strategies, and is the General Manager for Bridgewater China Investment Management Co. (BCIM), overseeing the firm’s strategic direction. Joanna is also a Partner at Bridgewater Associates.

Ken also led the development of the platform that powers our research process. Prior to joining Bridgewater, Ken got his B.S. from MIT and was an entrepreneur and technologist in a variety of industries, including manufacturing automation, robotics, and finance.
