    Porter joined Bridgewater in 2009 and is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and co-Head of the Investment Engine. He partners with the CEO to set and drive the strategic goals and oversee the day-to-day management of the firm and shares responsibility for the strategy and oversight of our Investment Engine. Previously, Porter was Lead of Portfolio Analytics, working closely with our co-CIOs to evolve our portfolio construction process, evaluate and manage investment risks, and design investment strategies for clients. His work has included evolving our risk controls and event risk strategy, researching how to best combine beta and alpha, and systemizing our portfolio construction and trade generation logic.

    Jessica joined Bridgewater in 2009 and is currently the Head of Consultant Relations and a Partner at the firm. Prior to her current role, she was the Head of Subadvisory Partnerships. Over the past 15+ years, Jessica has covered Bridgewater’s US and international clients, including public and corporate pension funds, insurance companies, university endowments, charitable foundations, and foreign governments. Jessica is also a leader in the firm’s Women’s Influence Network (“WIN”), where she coaches and mentors young professionals. Jessica is committed to helping up-and-coming talent develop the tools to build both a rewarding career and personal life.

    Nina joined Bridgewater in 2017, is a Partner at the firm, and serves as Co-Head of AI & ML Investment Strategy. She helped build AIA Labs from the ground up, and jointly leads investment research decisions. Prior to launching AIA Labs, Nina led co-CIO Greg Jensen’s dedicated research team for two years, during which time her research focused on breaking new ground in Bridgewater’s ability to marry top-down macro understanding with bottom-up equities insight. She also led the firm’s junior investment talent pipeline and was responsible for hiring and training over 50 first- and second-year investment analysts each year. Before joining Greg’s research team, Nina was an investment associate on the macro equities research team.

    Sam joined Bridgewater in 2013 and is Head of Portfolio and Trading and a Director of Investment Systems as well as a Partner at the firm. He is responsible for end-to-end oversight of all our investment systems – from how we convert our investment insights into systematic logic, to how these insights ultimately flow through to the positions we hold. Sam’s experience at the firm spans the breadth of our research, portfolio construction, and trading groups. Most recently, he led the firm’s Portfolio Research Team, where he oversaw and improved the firm’s portfolio construction and risk management process. Prior to that, he ran the Commodities team and worked on the Trading Analytics team.

    Ryan Drajewicz joined Bridgewater in 2010 and is Head of External Affairs and Communications, as well as a Partner at the firm. Reporting to the CEO, he is responsible for the firm’s external communications strategy, public relations and affairs, and digital strategy. Prior to this role, Ryan was Deputy Chief Commercial Officer, Head of the Operating Board of Directors & Chief of Staff to the founder and co-Chair of the Board. In 2024, Ryan was appointed by Connecticut’s Governor, Ned Lamont, to Chair the Governor’s Workforce Council, for a two-year term.

    Fred joined Bridgewater in 2003 and is currently the Head of our Resiliency Alpha strategies and a Partner at the firm. As Head of our Resiliency Alpha strategies, he is responsible for the strategy, oversight, and evolution of our tailored alpha portfolios, and for partnering with our clients to develop tailored investment strategies that improve portfolio resiliency. He has been deeply involved with the research and design of these strategies for several years and reports directly to our co-CIOs. Fred also serves as a Senior Portfolio Strategist, where he shares our best thinking on global markets and economies and partners with our clients on their investment challenges, with expertise in portfolio construction, foreign exchange, interest rate, credit, commodity, and equity markets. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with our co-CIOs, advancing research initiatives, creating investment strategies, and regularly contributing to the Bridgewater Daily Observations. Additionally, Fred has led research teams with specific focus on developed and emerging global bond and currency markets. Fred received his B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.

    Kate joined Bridgewater in 2017 and is currently the Head of Macro Research and a Partner at the firm. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing and evolving Bridgewater’s estimates of growth, inflation, and their impact on global monetary policy. Kate works closely with our co-CIOs and regularly shares her insights in the Bridgewater Daily Observations.

    Rob Dunlop joined Bridgewater in 2001 and is a Director of Investment Systems, responsible for ensuring the quality and cohesion of our overall investment systems across signals, risk controls, and implementation as well as driving cross-cutting projects. He has worked for the Systems Directors or in similar roles for over 15 years. Rob is also a Partner at the firm.

    Devon Long joined Bridgewater in 2012 and is the Deputy Head of Total Portfolio Strategies and a Partner. He is focused on delivering innovative investment strategies that address our clients’ biggest challenges, including overseeing our portfolios, leading research, and building investment systems. Prior to his current role Devon served as the Co-Head of Investment Implementation, overseeing the firm’s trade execution, portfolio management, data, and investment operations. He is also a lead investor partnering with our technology and engineering functions to design Bridgewater’s investing platforms to systematically manage money at scale. Devon has co-authored multiple research articles alongside Chief Investment Officers Karen Karniol-Tambour and Greg Jensen in the firm’s signature daily research publication, Bridgewater Daily Observations. Devon is an Atlantic Council Millenium Fellow and was named to Institutional Investor's "Hedge Fund Rising Stars" in 2024. He is a graduate of Harvard University where he studied computer science.

    Derrick joined Bridgewater in 2006 and is the Technology Chief Operating Officer and the Head of our Corporate Technology division. He is also a Partner at the firm. As Technology Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for implementing business strategies and optimizing Technology’s operational capabilities. As Head of Corporate Technology, Derrick shares responsibility for the strategy, delivery, and oversight of Bridgewater’s corporate and back-office technology. He was previously Head of Investment Engineering and Investment Operations in Research at Bridgewater.
