Gerry Pasciucco

Gerry Pasciucco joined Bridgewater in 2015 and is currently the Head of Finance and Strategy, serving as the company’s chief financial officer. He is also a Partner and a member of the firm's Operating Committee. Gerry is responsible for overseeing the Finance department, as well as developing and coordinating strategic financial matters. Previously, he was the advisor to the internal board, responsible for developing and managing the Board Office and certain strategic projects, including the economic transition of the founder.

Atul joined Bridgewater in 2018 and is Head of the Portfolio Strategist group. Atul works closely with our co-CIOs, and partners with Bridgewater’s clients on their most important investment priorities, including developing investment strategies to meet their goals and providing insight into the research group’s thinking on global markets and economic conditions. He is also a Partner at the firm.
David Trinh

David joined Bridgewater in 2012 and as Managing Deputy Chief Investment Officer he partners closely with our co-CIOs, evolving Bridgewater’s investment strategies. As Head of Currency Research, David is responsible for overseeing Bridgewater’s currency portfolio and incubating new strategies for inclusion in our alpha process across rate, equity, currency, and commodity markets. He is a member of Bridgewater’s Investment Committee as well as a Partner at the firm. Prior to his current role, David oversaw a portfolio where he traded a cross-asset portfolio primarily focusing on FX and rate markets.David graduated magna cum laude from Yale University where he majored in Economics and Political Science. External to Bridgewater he is also a mentor in the Girls Who Invest summer internship program.
Rick Sharma

Rick Sharma joined Bridgewater in 2012 and as Chief Legal Advisor, he is responsible for our investment management legal group within the Legal and Regulatory Department. In his role, he partners with internal clients on enabling key commercial and strategic initiatives. Rick also serves as the Deputy Operating Chair of Bridgewater’s Partnership.

Nir Bar Dea is Bridgewater’s Chief Executive Officer, responsible for setting and driving the strategic goals of the company and overseeing the day-to-day management of the firm. Nir is also a Partner, a member of the Operating Board of Directors, and co-chairs the Executive and Operating Committees.

Karen Karniol-Tambour is Co-Chief Investment Officer at Bridgewater Associates, responsible for managing the company’s investment process. Karen oversees the systemization of Bridgewater’s research into trading strategies, manages the development of proprietary investment management models, directs the design and implementation of client investment strategies, and publishes timely market understanding to clients and global policy makers via Bridgewater’s Daily Observations.

Alex joined Bridgewater in 2009 and is Co-Head of Fixed Income Research. He is a Partner of the firm and serves as a member of the Investment Committee, which is responsible for making Bridgewater’s most significant investment decisions. Alex builds and oversees key portions of the firm’s investment systems, with a focus on the understanding and prediction of money flows and their impact on markets. His work has included the ripple effects of quantitative easing on global markets, systematic projections of credit supply and demand, the impact of coordinated monetary and fiscal policies, and the supply/demand dynamics of the gold market. He also plays a significant leadership role in the development of cutting-edge technologies for Bridgewater’s investment process.
Jim Haskel

Jim joined Bridgewater in 2003 and is a Partner and Head of Client Service at the firm. He also continues to serve as the Editor of the Bridgewater Daily Observations, is a member of Bridgewater’s Operating Committee, and chairs the firm’s Commercial Committee. From 2003 to 2020, Jim served as a Senior Portfolio Strategist. He was also a member of Bridgewater’s Operating Board of Directors from 2018-2025 and was one of three people named as Bridgewater’s Seed Partners, tasked with building out all aspects of Bridgewater’s partnership to help transition the firm from an iconic founder to its next phase as an institutional money management firm.Prior to Bridgewater, Jim was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, serving from 1996 to 2003. From 1991 to 1994, he was an Associate Economist at Caxton Associates, a macro hedge fund as well as an economics researcher at the American Enterprise Institute, where he published numerous analytical pieces on international economic and financial topics in leading newspapers around the world. Jim received his MPP from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government in 1996 and a BA from Franklin and Marshall College in 1990. He currently serves as Chair of the Board at Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA, a grade 9-12 preparatory school he attended and graduated from in 1986. Jim, his wife Annie, and their three children reside in Westport, CT.
