Jasjeet Sekhon joined Bridgewater in 2018 as Head of Machine Learning. Jas is an internationally renowned expert whose research spans causal inference, machine learning, and generative AI, with a particular focus on developing machine-learning techniques for estimating causal relationships in low signal-to-noise environments with limited data. His methods are widely used in academia and industry and have been incorporated into machine learning platforms at Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Netflix, among others. Jas has held professorships at Harvard, UC Berkeley, and most recently Yale, as the Eugene Meyer Professor.

Nir Bar Dea is Bridgewater’s Chief Executive Officer, responsible for setting and driving the strategic goals of the company and overseeing the day-to-day management of the firm. Nir is also a Partner, a member of the Operating Board of Directors, and co-chairs the Executive and Operating Committees.

Karen Karniol-Tambour is Co-Chief Investment Officer at Bridgewater Associates, responsible for managing the company’s investment process. Erin Miles joined Bridgewater in 2009 and is Co-Head of the Investment Engine, Co-Head of Equities Research, a member of the Investment Committee and Operating Committee, and a Partner at the firm.
