Margo Cook

Margo Cook is an External Director on Bridgewater's Board of Directors. Margo joined the Board as an external director in July 2021 and served as Co-Chair from June 2023 to December 2025. Margo brings more than 30 years of executive leadership, operating experience and innovative thinking as an investor, CIO and business leader in the asset management industry. Margo was the President of Nuveen Advisory Services, responsible for over $1 trillion in assets in 24 countries. Prior to the integration of TIAA and Nuveen’s asset management businesses, Margo served as Co-President of Nuveen Investments. Prior to Nuveen, Margo led the institutional asset management business at Bear Stearns Asset Management and was CIO of the institutional business at BNY Mellon. Before becoming CIO, Margo was the Head of Fixed Income for several years.
Sian Beilock

Sian Beilock is an External Director on Bridgewater’s Board of Directors. She joined the Board as an External Director in July 2021. Sian is the 19th President of Dartmouth, and Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences. She is the first woman to have been elected president in Dartmouth’s 255-year history. A distinguished cognitive scientist, Sian is one of the world’s foremost experts on performance under pressure. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, one of the highest honors in her field, and received the 2017 Troland Award from the National Academy of Sciences.
Phil Dobrin

Phil joined Bridgewater in 2008 and is Head of Single Name Equities within the Equities team and a Partner Director on Bridgewater’s Board. He is also a Partner at the firm and was formerly a Senior Portfolio Strategist. Phil has been responsible for leading research across credit, rates, and equities. He developed and continues to oversee Bridgewater’s bottom-to-top equity strategies and is a key partner in Bridgewater’s broader equity research, including the launch of the firm’s sustainable equity strategies. Phil also serves as an advisor to Bridgewater’s clients to develop tailored investment solutions, in addition to representing the firm and its market views at industry conferences and other external engagements. He is a regular contributor to Bridgewater Daily Observations, the firm’s signature daily research publication.

Osman joined Bridgewater in 2008 and is a Partner Director on the firm's Board of Directors. He chairs the firm’s Operating Committee and Investment Committee and is the Operating Chair of the Partnership.
Devon Long

Devon Long joined Bridgewater in 2012 and is the Head of Multi-Asset Strategies, Total Portfolio Strategies and a Partner. He is focused on delivering innovative investment strategies that address our clients’ biggest challenges, including overseeing our portfolios, leading research, and building investment systems. Prior to his current role, Devon served as the Co-Head of Investment Implementation, overseeing the firm’s trade execution, portfolio management, data, and investment operations. He is also a lead investor, partnering with our technology and engineering functions to design Bridgewater’s investing platforms to systematically manage money at scale. Devon has co-authored multiple research articles alongside Chief Investment Officers Karen Karniol-Tambour and Greg Jensen in the firm’s signature daily research publication, Bridgewater Daily Observations. Devon is an Atlantic Council Millennium Fellow and was named to Institutional Investor’s "Hedge Fund Rising Stars" in 2024. He is a graduate of Harvard University, where he studied computer science.
Seth M. Birnbaum, CFA

Seth joined Bridgewater Associates in 2002 and is a senior member of the investment team as well as a Partner at the firm. He is currently responsible for Bridgewater’s fixed income and insurance investment strategies—developing tailored strategies and insights for fixed income investors and insurers globally. Seth has expertise in macroeconomics, portfolio engineering, and markets spanning foreign exchange, interest rates, commodities, and equities. For many years, Seth has partnered with sovereign wealth funds, central banks, pensions, endowments and foundations, insurers, and other financial institutions across the globe to develop tailored investment strategies and portfolio solutions. He was also responsible for Bridgewater’s client research and led the development of Bridgewater’s proprietary Risk Budget Tool. Seth graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College with a BA in Economics, a BA in Philosophy, and a BA in Political Science, with honors. He is a CFA charterholder.
Fred Post

Fred joined Bridgewater in 2003 and is currently a Partner at the firm. In Total Portfolio Strategies, Fred serves as a Senior Portfolio Strategist across our Resiliency Alpha, Resiliency Equities, and Balanced Assets strategies, where he shares our best thinking on global markets and economies and partners with our clients on their investment challenges, offering expertise in portfolio construction, foreign exchange, interest rate, credit, commodity, and equity markets. In that seat, Fred also plays an important role helping to shape and evolve our tailored alpha portfolios, partnering with our clients to share insight and develop tailored investment strategies that improve portfolio resiliency. He has been deeply involved with the research and design of these strategies for several years. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with our co-CIOs, advancing research initiatives, creating investment strategies, and regularly contributing to the Bridgewater Daily Observations. Additionally, Fred has led research teams with a specific focus on developed and emerging global bond and currency markets. Fred received his B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.

Greg Jensen

Greg Jensen is Co-CIO and head of the investment engine at Bridgewater. He is responsible for Bridgewater’s investment strategies and research efforts alongside fellow Co-CIOs Ray Dalio and Bob Prince. Greg joined Bridgewater in 1996 after graduating from Dartmouth College with a degree in economics and applied mathematics. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, Greg was named one of business’s rising stars in Fortune Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40.” From 2010 to 2016, he also served as Bridgewater’s Co-CEO.
Jim Haskel

Jim joined Bridgewater in 2003 and is a Partner and Head of Client Service at the firm. He also continues to serve as the Editor of the Bridgewater Daily Observations, is a member of Bridgewater’s Operating Committee, and chairs the firm’s Commercial Committee. From 2003 to 2020, Jim served as a Senior Portfolio Strategist. He was also a member of Bridgewater’s Operating Board of Directors from 2018-2025 and was one of three people named as Bridgewater’s Seed Partners, tasked with building out all aspects of Bridgewater’s partnership to help transition the firm from an iconic founder to its next phase as an institutional money management firm.Prior to Bridgewater, Jim was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, serving from 1996 to 2003. From 1991 to 1994, he was an Associate Economist at Caxton Associates, a macro hedge fund as well as an economics researcher at the American Enterprise Institute, where he published numerous analytical pieces on international economic and financial topics in leading newspapers around the world. Jim received his MPP from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government in 1996 and a BA from Franklin and Marshall College in 1990. He currently serves as Chair of the Board at Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA, a grade 9-12 preparatory school he attended and graduated from in 1986. Jim, his wife Annie, and their three children reside in Westport, CT.
