Janani Ramachandran, who leads the investment research team that services Bridgewater’s clients across Eurasia, recently participated in a panel discussion hosted by Luminary NYC on Building an Effective and Impactful Women’s Network. The panel featured leaders from top organizations who shared successes and lessons learned related to growing their company’s women’s affinity network. During the discussion, Janani reflected on her experience serving on the leadership team for the firmwide Women’s Influence Network (WIN) and standing up the Investment Women’s Network, a cohort within WIN that connects women across Bridgewater’s Investment Engine. She covered a variety of successful initiatives along with lessons learned, and stressed the importance of having company policies and benefits that are adaptive to the needs of every individual in the company.
