Will Barnes

Will Barnes joined Bridgewater in 2017 and is Head of Policy Research, responsible for understanding the impact of government policy and geopolitical dynamics on economies and markets around the world. He works closely with the co-Chief Investment Officers and regularly shares insights in the Bridgewater Daily Observations. As part of the firm's Investment Associate talent program, Will also oversees the development and assessment of entry-level investors through Bridgewater's investment internship program and intensive first-year development program.

Will is a Millennium Fellow at the Atlantic Council and a graduate of the University of Oxford, where he studied philosophy, politics, and economics at Hertford College and earned First Class Honours.
