Hudson Attar

Hudson Attar is Head of Contra Currencies at Bridgewater Associates, responsible for overseeing precious metals trading. He leads the gold and silver research process within the Alpha Engine, develops proprietary investment strategies in the space, and shares insights about these assets with clients and policymakers via the Bridgewater Daily Observations. He works closely with the co-Chief Investment Officers and Deputy Chief Investment Officers to drive evolution in Pure Alpha's investment process and push the firm’s macro understanding forward. He also manages a cross-asset portfolio primarily focusing on FX and rate markets.

Hudson joined Bridgewater in 2018 after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a BS in Business Administration and a BA in Computer Science.
