As part of Bridgewater’s Pride Month celebration, our LGBTQIA+ affinity network, BProud, hosted their annual “When We (They) Knew” event. The forum highlights members of the LGBTQIA+ community at Bridgewater, and provides a platform to tell stories about their journeys towards being their authentic selves. This year’s virtual event featured Senior Software Engineer Lore Anaya Pozo (then Lucas Morales), who discussed their personal experiences with gender expression and gender identity. The common thread through their story was how being authentic, or “completely visible,” took courage and support from others.
