Bridgewater’s Hispanic/Latinx Network (HLN) Hosts “How We Got Here”

During Hispanic Heritage Month, our Hispanic/Latinx Network (HLN) hosted our third annual “How We Got Here” event. This series features members of our community who share their personal stories, including the ways immigration has played a role in their own life and their family’s lives. This year’s virtual event featured employees Judy Perez and Francheska Vargas — among others — who both discussed how immigration shaped who they are today. In creating a forum for these stories, the HLN aims to build empathy for the experiences of others, and to highlight the importance of having safe spaces to be your authentic self.
