Bridgewater Supports NYU Tandon Cyber Fellows Scholarship

Since 2017, Bridgewater, through the efforts of our Security Department, has funded the Bridgewater Scholarship for Minorities in Cybersecurity, helping underrepresented students seeking to pursue Master’s Degrees in cybersecurity at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Since the launch of the scholarship, two graduates have joined Bridgewater, while many others have gone on to a variety of careers across the cybersecurity field. Over the same time, various Bridgewater employees in Security have also served as professional mentors to Tandon students. At this year's welcome session, Senior Security Manager Glenn Kinen spoke about the importance of DE&I in cybersecurity and helping to cultivate the next generation of security talent, and we heard directly from one scholarship recipient about the impact of the support on their career and life.
