Nina Lozinski, Co-Head of AI & ML Investment Strategy, was selected for the inaugural 2026 cohort of the Aspen Institute's Technology Leaders Initiative—a fellowship convening leaders with the capacity to drive change across the global technology ecosystem.
In 2023, Co-CIO Greg Jensen asked Nina, then 27, to help launch AIA Labs, Bridgewater's dedicated artificial intelligence research and investment lab, with a mandate to build a fully artificial investor capable of outcompeting humans. Under her leadership, AIA Labs grew from a six-person team to more than 50 scientists, engineers, and investors drawn from frontier AI labs, academia, and the investment community. Nina brings a rare ability to bridge complex technical research and high-stakes execution—building the trust required for people from very different backgrounds to do their best work together.
Today, Nina is guiding Bridgewater through what she describes as potentially the most transformative technology of our lifetimes: “No single mind can master what the AI frontier demands. As a leader, my job is to bring those minds together and chart a unified direction—making the whole greater than the sum of its parts.”
That instinct to build something larger than herself has been deeply rooted from the start. Even in high school, she founded a fully student-run theater company designed to keep developing student leaders in the arts long after she graduated—an institution that still exists today. Those leadership values have remained constant: develop the team, establish the systems, and make sure both are strong enough to outgrow you.
As part of the Aspen Technology Leaders Initiative, Nina will join a global cohort for a two-year program grappling with a future where technology transcends geography, ideology, and digital borders—and what this transformation demands of the people who will lead through it.
