Jasjeet Sekhon joined Bridgewater in 2018 as Head of Machine Learning. Jas is an internationally renowned expert whose research spans causal inference, machine learning, and generative AI, with a particular focus on developing machine-learning techniques for estimating causal relationships in low signal-to-noise environments with limited data. His methods are widely used in academia and industry and have been incorporated into machine learning platforms at Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Netflix, among others. Jas has held professorships at Harvard, UC Berkeley, and most recently Yale, as the Eugene Meyer Professor.
