Daniel Hochman

Daniel is Deputy Head of the Content Lab at Bridgewater Associates, where he helps lead the publication and editorial direction of the firm’s investment content, including flagship publications such as the Bridgewater Daily Observations (BDO), the annual Strategic Report, and Quarterly Letters. 

He is also an Associate Strategist, regularly engaging with clients on the global outlook, the firm’s strategies, and portfolio construction, and is a frequent contributor to the BDO.

Since joining Bridgewater in 2011, he has worked as an investor and researcher. He previously served for seven years as Head of Sustainability Research, leading the firm’s work at the intersection of environmental and social dynamics, macroeconomics, and financial markets, and continues to serve on the firm’s Sustainable Investing Committee. 

He is a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and a Millennium Leadership Fellow at the Atlantic Council. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA.
