As Deputy CIO, Blake partners with the CIOs to oversee Bridgewater’s Pure Alpha and AIA strategies. He also sets Bridgewater’s investment talent and technology strategies, focused on using artificial intelligence to transform the firm’s approach to deeply understanding economies and markets. Blake leads Bridgewater’s investor talent program, including designing the firm’s pipelines for hiring, early-career training, and ongoing development and impact. Previously Head of Cross-Asset Strategies and Co-Head of Currency Research, he reshaped the firm’s global FX framework across developed and emerging markets.

Before joining Bridgewater, he created college admissions resources that supported thousands of first-generation and low-income students worldwide. Blake is also a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and a Partner at Bridgewater.
