Alex Schiller
Alex joined Bridgewater Associates in 2009 and is a Partner of the firm and Head of Rates, where he is responsible for Bridgewater's global bond and interest rate strategies. He also serves as one of the firm's Directors of Investment Systems, responsible for broader oversight of systems and investment decisions. Alex's expertise includes the impact of macro conditions, policy choices, and money flows on global markets. In the past, he has built significant portions of the firm's cross-asset and gold strategies and has played a leadership role in the development of the firm's investment technologies.
Alex is the Vice Chair of the US Treasury's Borrowing Advisory Committee. He is a graduate of Princeton University, where he studied mathematics.
